Role Description

We are seeking a highly qualified engineer for the full-time, remote working position of Chief Technology Officer at Aura Beauty. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, be hands-on with coding, and have the ability to develop production systems from the ground up. This role requires an individual who excels in execution and has the desire or potential to lead technology strategy at a pivotal level within the company.

Objectives:

· Navigation storyboard (user flows / sitemap)

· Wireframes

· Visual UI designs (up to 40 screens)

· Fully annotated screens (explaining functionality and mechanics)

· Technology stack recommendations

· Proposed APIs and third-party services

· User needs and feature mapping

· Technical requirements

· Acceptance criteria for MVP

· Recommendations for AI system integration

· Coding/Build

Qualifications

• Software Development skills
• Project Management and IT Strategy skills
• Architecture and Product Development skills
• Experience in leading technical teams and driving innovation
• Strong understanding of beauty and skincare industry trends
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience:

• Worked at a pre-seed or seed-stage start-up
• Capable of AI integration
• Proven track record of delivery
