About our client
Our client, a leading infrastructure fund manager, is looking to hire an ESG Associate to their team in London.
What the job involves
- Supporting the Head of ESG & Safety to drive the firm’s ESG framework
- Project managing the annual ESG data collection process across the portfolio with a strong focus on data validation
- Supporting investment teams with ESG/sustainability due diligence, including drafting scope of works for consultants, monitoring and reviewing consultants’ work, joining site visits and drafting ESG sections of Investment Committee papers
- Ensuring effective and efficient onboarding of new portfolio companies and staff to raise early awareness about the firm’s ESG processes
- Identify, coordinate and help deliver the ESG training needs for the wider firm and coaching sessions (e.g. online workshops) for portfolio management teams
- Leading on at least one particular specialist area in ESG/sustainability such as climate risk, H&S or social value and stay abreast of technical, regulatory and market development
