SAP HCM Payroll Consultant SC Eligibility required

£60,000 – £75,000

Hybrid (Flexbile onsite location)

We're looking for an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Consultant to join a large-scale SAP programme. You'll play a key role in supporting and enhancing SAP Payroll solutions, with a focus on UK statutory processes, live service issue resolution, and system configuration across HCM modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP HCM solutions, with a focus on UK Payroll

• Resolve high-priority live service issues in a multi-supplier environment

• Work on change requests, enhancements, and project deliverables

• Produce quality documentation (functional specs, solution designs, WRICEF)

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to troubleshoot and deliver solutions

• Provide accurate effort estimates and deliver against timelines

• Mentor junior team members where needed

Experience:

• Strong SAP HCM functional experience, especially in:

  • UK Payroll (end-to-end processing, year-end)

  • Personnel Administration, Time Management, and statutory updates

• Hands-on experience writing Payroll PCRs and Schemas

• Familiarity with integrations to third-party vendors

• Good understanding of SAP technical components (e.g. ABAP, Workflow, Integration)

• Confident in a support/project environment and able to work independently

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
