I am recruiting for an experienced Route Planner to work within my client on the outskirts of Chelmsford / Wickford

– Free parking is provided but you will need your own transport due to the rural location of these newly refurbished offices.

This is a varied role working within a team with the support of a Transport Manager.

You will be planning the pickup, drop offs and servicing of hired equipment for a number of vehicles across multiple depots using planning software tools

The main purpose of the role is to manage the transport of service drivers, whilst providing excellent customer service. The atmosphere is busy and buzzy in the newly refurbished offices, and you will be communicating internally with the customer service teams, as well as depot managers.

We are looking for:

Transport Planning experience – essential

• Experience within a similar role – essential
• Transport and logistics sector experience preferable.
• Must be IT literate and able to use tools such as Word, Excel etc.

Someone with their own transport.

Please note: Due to the location of our offices, your own transport is necessary for this role.

• 08:00 – 17:30 Monday to Friday
