Purpose of the role

The Distribution Centre Supervisor (DCS) is responsible for leading and ensuring all daily requirements of the site are met. This includes leading by example, empowering team members to maintain high standards of safety, service, and compliance. The role also involves fostering an inclusive culture and embedding Movianto Values.

The focus will be on operational compliance, adhering to standard operating procedures, health and safety regulations, and transport legislation.

How you\’ll make an impact as a Distribution Centre Supervisor at Movianto

• Manage daily site operations, including route building, maintaining the Depot Dashboard, managing scanning, and acting as DCM as required.
• Create a best-in-class environment, promoting Movianto Values.
• Ensure high health and safety standards and compliance with SOPs.
• Monitor systems such as Verilocation, TMS, Convey, and Fleet Check.
• Provide reports on operational performance.
• Coordinate vehicle scheduling and ensure timely service.
• Foster strong inter-department relationships to optimize performance.
• Manage HR activities, including absence and disciplinary issues.
• Lead, motivate, and engage your team to achieve success.
• Analyze KPI data for continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate time and attendance records using iTrent.

Requirements to thrive as a Distribution Centre Supervisor at Movianto

• Hold a UK driving licence.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and transport operational systems.
• Working knowledge of CPC or advanced transport legislation.
• Proven leadership and logistics experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Experience in a medical or pharmaceutical environment (desirable).
