This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and passionate solicitor to take on a varied caseload, represent clients at police stations and in court, and play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services.Crime Solicitor Key Responsibilities:• Represent clients at police stations, magistrates’ courts, and Crown Courts.• Manage a full and varied caseload of criminal matters from start to finish.• Participate in the duty solicitor rota.• Advise clients on all aspects of criminal law including interviews under caution, bail applications, and trial preparation.• Liaise with external agencies including the CPS, police, and counsel.• Ensure accurate file management, time recording, and compliance with the Legal Aid Agency requirements.Requirements of the Crime Solicitor:• A minimum of 2 years’ PQE in Criminal Law.• Police Station Accreditation and Duty Solicitor status essential.• Strong advocacy and client care skills.• Ability to handle a busy and varied workload independently.• A proactive and organised approach with excellent attention to detail.• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle preferred.Benefits:
