If youre excited about the intersection of tech and health, Oviva is the place for you.The RoleAs a Specialist Dietitian, you will be instrumental in delivering Ovivas Tier 3 digital and remote weight management service. Working within our Tier 3 multidisciplinary clinical team, youll provide high-quality, evidence-based care aligned with Ovivas training protocols and HCPC professional standards.Youll offer patient-centred support tailored to individual needs, while also contributing to team-wide efforts to meet both internal and contractual performance targets. These include clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and programme retention goals.To ensure service excellence in a remote setting, youll play a key role in fostering effective communication and collaboration with all members of the Tier 3 MDT.

In addition, youll provide ongoing feedback on patient experiences and programme delivery to your Clinical Services Manager, supporting continual optimisation of both the service and Ovivas digital platform.We also prioritise your professional development: youll have regular opportunities to attend monthly clinical supervision and weekly clinical sessions, helping you expand your expertise and grow in your role.You will work closely withTier 3 Clinical Services manager to ensure you are set up for success as a Weight management Specialist Dietitian and are meeting the expectations of your role.The Tier 3 multi-disciplinary team (MDT) including weight management dietitians, health coaches, psychological wellbeing practitioners, psychologists, specialist obesity nurses and Oviva obesity physicianPatient Services team to support a smooth patient journey from enrolment to dischargeThe Safeguarding and Compliance Teams to ensure safe and NHS-compliant patient careJob requirements Essential(minimum 1 year post-registration)The ability to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the service and the wider teamSkilled user of IT equipment and software including electronic patient records, email, word processing and excel sheetsHighly organised and flexible to adapt and keep up to date with changes in a high paced environmentEmotional resilience and the ability to thrive in challenging situationsExcellent communication, organisational and time management skillsEvidence of maintaining CPD post-registration and continuing to meet HCPC registration requirementsStrong ability to handle sensitive, confidential data and diligently follow Information governance policiesExperience and ability to work autonomously and in a teamExperience of managing a large caseload of patients with attention to detail and a high level of patient-centred careExperience of dietetic management of patients with complex health conditionsDesirableExperience working in a Tier 3 Weight management service or equivalent weight management services.Experience managing safeguarding scenarios.Behaviour change techniques (BCT) and/or Motivational Interviewing training and experience of applying this in practice.QualificationsRegistered dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)Desirable: Active member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA)Desirable: Completed SCOPE obesity training or CPD plan to complete.Job responsibilities Provide coaching using the Oviva app to clients / patients / users of Ovivas UK servicesUtilise expert diet and nutrition knowledge to support patients with a range of evidence-based dietary approachesGiven the nationwide reach of our Oviva participants, this role requires a keen eye for detail to tailor patient care to specific contractual obligations and offer appropriate local or national support resourcesSupport patients remotely to make positive, practical and sustainable changes to their diet and lifestyleSupport medically and psychologically complex patients including those with multiple comorbiditiesUtilise behavioural change, and motivational techniques, to support the patient through the 12 month programmeBe accountable for collecting attendance, satisfaction and outcome data and work with Oviva to provide service evaluation and reportingMaintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records using Ovivas secure electronic medical record systemComplete mandatory training, Oviva training courses and keep up to date with changes to programme processesAdhere to all Information Governance and data protection regulations in the handling of patient dataBe an active member of the MDT.
