AWS DevOps Engineer

This is an amazing opportunity to join our Glasgow based client, a leading SaaS provider within their field. Currently looking to expand their cloud capabilities and looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain core systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Deploy and manage operating systems, applications, databases, and system management tools.
• Take a proactive approach to maintaining high availability across systems and services.
• Analyze application performance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with developers to resolve potential bottlenecks.
• Develop and implement strategies for system security, data backup, and redundancy.
• Automate routine processes with custom scripting to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Work closely with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical challenges.

What We\’re Looking For

• Proficiency in scripting tools such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible.
• Solid understanding of version control tools like Git or SVN.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and automated deployment pipelines.
• Skilled in infrastructure-as-code practices, with Terraform as a strong advantage.
• Deep knowledge of Linux-based environments, with strong troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience administering MySQL or MariaDB databases.

Salary up to £50,000, plus additional benefits. Flexible working model.
