We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist residential children's home that provides high-level care for children whose needs cannot be met in standard settings. This is a challenging but incredibly rewarding role for someone committed to making a real difference.

About the Role:
You’ll be working directly with children and young people who present challenging behaviours and have complex emotional needs. The focus is on building strong relationships, providing consistent care, and supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting daily routines, activities, and education
- Managing behaviours in a therapeutic and trauma-informed way
- Promoting independence, self-esteem, and well-being
- Working closely with colleagues, families, and professionals
- Completing accurate records and reports
What We're Looking For:
- Experience supporting children or young people with complex needs and/or challenging behaviour
- Resilience, empathy, and a genuine passion for care
- Flexibility to work long shifts, weekends, and do occasional sleep-ins
- A full UK driving licence is essential
This role is ideal for you if you have:
- Experience in residential childcare, SEN schools, youth work, or mental health settings
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
