We are urgently seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Project Manager to take control of a challenged implementation project. This role will focus on delivery timelines, stabilising scope, restoring stakeholder confidence, and holding the System Integrator (SI) accountable for performance, quality, and contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will have a track record of implementing ERP projects or recovering projects in distress and navigating complex vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Rapidly assess the current state of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation (Finance & Operations / Customer Engagement / Business Central).
  • Establish governance frameworks and enforce project controls across all workstreams.
  • Drive accountability and performance from the System Integrator (SI), ensuring adherence to contractual SLAs, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Rebaseline the project plan with realistic timelines, budget forecasts, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for all project-related issues, particularly those involving the SI or third-party vendors.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide transparent, concise reporting to executive leadership.
  • Lead daily standups, steering committees, and recovery workshops as needed.
  • Coordinate internal teams to support stabilization and drive high-priority decisions.
  • Oversee issue and defect management, change control, and test cycle execution.
  • Ensure clear documentation of all actions, decisions, and corrective measures.
