Credit & Investment Risk Analyst

A specialist insurance business are looking for a Credit & Investment Risk Analyst to join the team on a 12 month fixed term basis. The role will get involved with the internal credit assessment methodology, assessing the key credit risks within the business investment exposures. The ideal candidate will have experience in insurance, banking, investment management or similar, with particular exposure to credit rating assessments for private credit assets.

Responsibilities:

• Support credit rating assessments across varied assets with private credit
• Help to shape the group internal credit assessment methodology
• Manage internal rating database and involvement with investment risk review
• Provide credit and investment management information to internal external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Credit research and analysis experience with any assets (private credit preferred)
• Credit ratings exposure and understanding of financial statements
• Strong Excel skills for data manipulation and modelling
• Strong communication skills and adaptability
• Immediate availability or short notice period
