Marketing Business Development Manager

Blue Legal are partnering with a leading professional services firm who are recruiting for a Business Development & Marketing Manager to join their London office on a 6 month FTC basis. The role involves collaborating closely with senior BD leaders, partners, and cross-location marketing teams to deliver firm-wide business development initiatives, coordinate with external partners, and oversee junior team members on key projects. This is an ideal positon for someone who is immediately available.

The Responsibilities:

• Collaborates across multi-location marketing and BD teams, partners, and senior managers to deliver firm-wide initiatives and support.
• Liaises with external partners (agencies, media, sponsorships) and supervises junior team members on projects.
• Leads and manages marketing and team-wide projects to drive execution and results.
• Drives business development efforts, including pipeline support, pitch and ITT preparation, and firm-wide BD campaigns.
• Manages PR and communications deliverables, including thought leadership, surveys, reports, the annual impact report, award submissions, and press materials.
• Provides ongoing support to senior BD and marketing leaders across additional strategic and operational activities.

The Candidate:

• Proven professional services BD/marketing management experience with strong relationship-building, stakeholder advisory, and client-facing skills.
• Skilled in leading pitches, proposals, and BD campaigns across sectors and markets while managing multiple deadlines.
• Commercially minded, organised, and effective project manager with the confidence to drive client-development initiatives.
