CNC Machine Setter/Operator

• Perform any setting / operating duties as requested on or within target times.

• Read and edit existing CNC programmes to ensure quality and output is optimised.

• Perform any pre-shift and maintenance checks as dictated by the plant and equipment you are operating

• Use a variety of measuring equipment ensure all inspection requirements are completed in line with Control Plan instructions

• Monitor tooling for wear, adjust offsets or replace where necessary

• Experience setting & programming Fanuc OR Mori Seiki.

• Knowledge of working to tight tolerances, understand technical drawings and the ability to use a wide range of measuring equipment.

This position will be on a full time, permanent basis. Working hours are an average of 37.5 hours per week on a shift rotation, which involves 10 x 12 hour shifts over a 21-day cycle with 11 days off.
