We’re hiring on behalf of a highly respected consulting firm looking to expand its AI and digital transformation practice. This is a Principal-level opportunity for someone with a strong background in consulting and a passion for shaping how AI is used to solve real-world business problems.

About the Role

As a Principal Consultant, you’ll lead the definition and delivery of AI strategies for clients navigating complex change agendas. You’ll be a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping them align AI initiatives to strategic goals and build capability that delivers real business value.

You’ll work across the full lifecycle — from early advisory and roadmap design through to governance, solution shaping, and delivery oversight. Sector focus includes public services, health, and infrastructure, but the role offers variety across industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements focused on AI strategy, operating models, and governance
• Design and shape AI-enabled transformation programmes
• Manage multi-disciplinary delivery teams (consultants, data scientists, technologists)
• Advise CxO-level stakeholders on best practice, risk, and ethical considerations
• Support business development and thought leadership in the AI & data space

What We’re Looking For

• Experience delivering complex transformation in a consulting environment
• Expertise in AI, data, or analytics strategy
• Track record of managing senior client relationships and leading teams
• Familiarity with operating models, change management, and digital delivery
• Sector experience in health, public services, infrastructure, or regulated industries (desirable)
