Project Accountant

Forge Talent are currently engaged with a Market Leading business in South Manchester who are looking to hire an experienced Interim Project Accountant. The role will be for 6 months initially with potential to get extended. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role is looking to start asap

Key Responsibilities

• Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Month end duties
• Document process and procedures
• Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
• To identify and make recommendations opportunities for the business to improve efficiency.
• Produce financial statements including P&L accounts, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
• Ensure alignment of budgets and forecasts with the firm’s strategic objectives.
• Analyse financial performance, including revenue, profitability, utilisation, and cost control

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified or QBE
• Worked in a similar role previously
• Solid communicator
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong systems and excel skills
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.

Day Rate

The Interim Project Accountant role is paying up £325 per day inside IR35
