Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the production machinery and plant.
• Maintaining and improving the standards set within the area of given responsibility.
• Being responsible for production and quality on the shift, ensuring production requirements are achieved and that production schedules are followed.
• Completing quality audit forms on surface quality and reporting defects to Senior operators.
• Ensuring that the necessary materials and equipment are in place to optimise plant performance.
• Following and adhering to all work schedules, reporting any deviations through the Operating management structure using the computer database and e-mail.
• Keeping training records up to date.
• Using downtime effectively and maintaining high standards of housekeeping.

Working Hours: 42 hours over a four day shift pattern working days and nights, which includes two 12 hour days from 6am-6pm, two 12 hour nights from 6pm-6am followed by four rest days.
