eCommerce Director – Global Beauty Company

Central London – Hybrid 3 days/week

We are recruiting for a eCommerce Director, a newly created role, to shape the future digital strategy of our client a global multi award winning prestige beauty company.

The eCommerce Director will report directly to the UK General Manager of this globally recognised cosmetics company. This is a rare entrepreneurial opportunity to make a direct contribution to the company’s success as it rapidly scales up.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a best-in-class ecommerce strategy driving marketplace launches Amazon UK
• Lead the end-to-end set-up on Amazon.co.uk: account structure, agency selection, catalogue onboarding, A+ content, and compliance.
• Define the UK ecommerce roadmap, budget and business plan—aligned to global brand goals.
• Build an integrated media strategy (organic & paid) spanning marketplace, social commerce, display, search and affiliate channels.
• Recruit and build a digital team in 2026 to support the UK DTC market.
• Shape pure-play businesses by-developing joint business plans, set mutual sales and margin objectives, and monitor performance.
• Select, brief and manage creative, media and performance-marketing agencies.

About you:

• Strategic eCommerce or digital marketing leader- building and executing strategies to grow revenue, increase market share, and improve efficiencies to present back to management.
• Experience of managing SEO/SEM, Google Analytics and CRM activities;
• Experienced people leader who has led a large team previously (4+ people) with passion and positivity
• Experience in working collaboratively across multiple functions
• Demonstrated experience working within a fast-paced environment and the ability to work autonomously
• Inspirational leader with a passion for E-commerce.
• Degree Educated.
