Trainee Freight Administrator

Our client is looking for a Trainee Freight Administrator to join one of the biggest global freight forwarders, who specialise in Live Events and Broadcasting. This role would be ideal for someone that has a minimum of 1 Years' experience within an Office Administration role.

Duties and responsibilities of a Trainee Freight Administrator:

• Accurately completing carnet applications including logging, returning, tracking claims
• Supporting clients on carnet regulations and requirements
• Following existing processes to maintain accurate records, keeping carnet logs up to date
• Working with the Air Export team to handle all aspects of exports including customs entries
• Arranging collections with agreed suppliers
• Liaising with airlines, carriers, handling agents and customers daily

The successful candidate:

• Minimum of 1 years experience working in an office environment
• Will have a clear 5 year checkable employment and education history
• A clean DBS
• Aptitude to learn and grow within an organisation
• Good IT skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Additional information for a Trainee Freight Administrator:

• Salary – £25,000
• Hours of work – Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30
• Location – Hayes accessible by car or public transport

Freight experienceis not required for this role as training will be provided for the successful candidate.
