My client, a large, highly-respected Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join their growing team of experts in the centrally-located, historic city of Peterborough.

Essential Criteria:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, or another related field
  • Demonstrable experience of working with Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Risk Mitigation, and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
  • Good working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (including S104, S106, etc.), and their applications within the industry
  • Working knowledge of Infoworks ICM, Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, and other relevant software systems

It would also benefit applicants for the role of Flood Risk Consultant to possess the following skills:

  • Experience of stakeholder liaison across the public and private sectors
  • Excellent time management and communication skills

In your exciting new role of Flood Risk Consultant, you will join a specialist team of engineering and design experts in their respective fields, with a view to developing and progressing within your career. The role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Completing Flood Risk Assessments and working on Flood Risk Mitigation projects
  • Producing Drainage Strategies, and working with Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)
  • Preparing calculations and drawings for drainage systems, aligned to S104, S106, and other Section Agreements
  • Liaising with clients and other stakeholders, across the public and private sectors
