We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Technician to work with our client installing electronic systems into a variety of environments. This is an exciting role with a well-established company who pride themselves on providing quality workmanship and amazing customer service. This is a field-based role working Monday - Friday covering the whole of the UK & Ireland, so the role will require regular overnight stays. The office is based on the South Coast, so you will need to be able to get to the office when you are not on site.

You will need to have previous experience in a similar role including electronics knowledge and strong Windows-based IT skills including both software and networking.

The Role

  • Installing specialist electronic systems into a variety of environments.
  • Supporting the client with technical information.
  • Site surveys and preparation of RAMS.
  • Planned system maintenance.
  • Producing service reports.
  • Communicating clearly to the client and office team on projects.
  • Provision of Technical System support, both on site and remotely.
  • Problem solving, forward thinking and overcoming challenges.
  • Knowledge and compliance of Health and Safety requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

In order to be considered for this role you will need to be confident with Electronics and Windows-based IT Systems. You will need to be professional, presentable and polite as you will be in a customer-facing position. Ideally, you will have experience working in a similar field-based role. You will need to have an eye for detail and genuinely care about doing a good job and getting the detail right. You will need to be self-motivated and committed in your work. The right attitude is more important than anything and full product training will be provided.
