A renowned Scottish law firm is seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to join their Marketing and Communications team, based in Edinburgh. The role-holder will be responsible for implementing the firm’s digital strategy in alignment with the wider communications plan, and collaborating with the business development team to create client-focused content plans.

The Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the implementation of the firm’s digital communications initiatives, ensuring integration with the wider communications campaigns strategies.
  • Developing engaging content tailored for various digital platforms, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Liaising with the BD team to develop targeted content plans for key practice areas, ensuring optimisation for improved search engine visibility.
  • Managing the development of the firm’s websites and microsites, including content creation, performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Taking charge of implementing and promoting the firm’s social media strategy, providing training sessions and producing comprehensive guides.
  • Ensuring content and all marketing materials are brand consistent and aligned with the firm’s strategic goals.
  • Working closely with internal and external design teams to produce compelling promotional literature and web pages.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a corporate marketing/communications role, within a professional services environment or relevant PR agency experience.
  • Understanding of search engine optimisation and its application in digital marketing.
  • Highly proficient in all MS Office packages (including PowerPoint), and knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Experience of website management. Knowledge of Drupal or similar CMS would be advantageous.
