A top-tier global consultancy is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to support a high-profile infrastructure migration project. This is a hands-on role where you'll be instrumental in ensuring platform integrity, high availability, and automation throughout the transition.
You will collaborate closely with infrastructure and platform teams to:
- Rebuild container environments from the ground up
- Configure and fine-tune OpenShift clusters and supporting services
- Develop automation workflows to streamline deployment and monitoring across the platform
As a platform engineer you will need the following essential skills:
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of Azure or private cloud platforms
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code - Ansible, Terraform
- Skilled in CI/CD tools
- Solid scripting skills - PowerShell, Python, or equivalent
- Experience with monitoring tools - Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana
Please note: Active SC Clearance is essential.
Hybrid working - Farnborough-based.
Day Rate: £450-£550/day.
Duration: 6 months | Inside IR35.
