An established and respected top 50 accountancy firm is looking to appoint an experienced Audit Manager to support the growth of their financial services team, with a specific focus on FCA regulated firms and CASS audits. The Audit Manager Opportunity:

  • You will manage a portfolio of FCA regulated clients, overseeing both statutory audit work and client asset (CASS) assurance engagements.
  • This role offers significant client interaction, the chance to lead and develop a team, and involvement in business development activities as the financial services offering continues to expand.

Audit Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of FCA regulated firms and other statutory audit clients.
  • Acting as the key point of contact for clients, providing technical guidance and managing expectations.
  • Overseeing and reviewing work completed by the team, highlighting key risks.
  • Setting budgets, negotiating fees, and ensuring timely delivery of work.
  • Involvement in staff development, appraisals, and training.
  • Supporting the firm's growth through networking and business development.

Your Profile:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 2 years' post-qualified audit experience from a UK practice.
  • Proven experience with FCA statutory audits and CASS assurance (Direct Investment Firms preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Commercially astute with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Capable of working independently, leading teams, and building client relationships.
