Working for a leading eCommerce brand, the Product Owner will lead the roadmap and backlog for payment / checkout journeys. The company is a household name and processes hundreds of millions of pounds worth of online payments each year.
The Product Owner will be responsible for:
- Owning the payments product backlog - prioritising initiatives that drive value, simplicity, and performance
- Working closely with engineering teams to refine requirements, challenge assumptions and ship best-in-class features
- Collaborating with UX, data, and third-party payment providers to improve core checkout flows, payments, refunds and more
- Bringing domain expertise in digital payments and be confident weighing trade-offs, challenging suppliers and making data-led product decisions
The Product Owner will have:
- Experience in a Product Manager, Product Owner or similar role focusing on payments / checkout
- Worked within ecommerce, retail, travel or companies processing a high volume of digital payments
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
- Great analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
