We are seeking to transform services to ensure families are supported in a way which meets their needs at the times they require it. This is in line with the Scottish Governments recent drive for early, holistic support for families. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual who can work under their own initiative. Our vision is to support families holistically at an early stage of intervention as well as at times of crises to support families and to allow them to build resilience and coping strategies with the aim they do not need to receive support from statutory services. The aim is to assist development of a range of flexible supports to ensure that children have improved outcomes across their childhoods and are supported to remain with their family in the Stirling Council area. These posts are designed to work alongside families and universal services, to ensure a stronger community within Stirling. As well as the relevant qualifications and experience, qualities we are looking for in the successful candidate are, a can do attitude, vision, passionate about supporting children and their families, energy, initiative, good communication skills and self-discipline.
