We're looking to recruit a Learning and Development Specialist to join our Learning and Development team. The role holder will identify, analyse and implement a wide range of learning solutions to support the people and organisational development requirements within West Brom.
What the role will look like:
- Liaise with Senior Managers and Managers across the business to provide expert advice on the best development methods for their staff.
- Complete needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation of learning solutions to meet individual/department/organisational needs and regulatory requirements.
- Work with the Digital Learning Specialist to design, implement and update blended learning programmes.
- Adopt new technologies to create exciting and engaging learning modules and materials.
- Contribute to Learning & Development related projects as required, liaising with key stakeholders, to ensure projects delivered within agreed timescales.
- Provide coaching and mentoring sessions for staff in support of all learning and development programmes.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of current people development theory & methods and provide suitable interpretation to Senior Managers, Managers and staff within the Society.
- Identify, manage and monitor risks and their controls which relate to Learning & Development.
What you will bring to the role:
- Ideally, holder of CIPD Certificate in Learning and Development (or equivalent) or willing to study towards.
- Ideally, experience of the full training cycle gained within professional training environment.
- Experience in delivering training around excellent customer service/experience.
- Ideally, a qualified coach or experience of coaching theory and practice.
- A strong understanding of all core Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Society's core systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
