About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Delivery Manager to join our team onsite in Bournemouth, UK. This is a critical role responsible for leading project delivery efforts, ensuring alignment with client expectations, business objectives, and timelines.
This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach to managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining client satisfaction, optimizing delivery processes, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop, manage, and deliver detailed project plans, ensuring milestones, resource allocation, and budgets are aligned.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive successful project execution.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on project goals.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks early and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor project progress, provide regular updates, and ensure timely reporting to all stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess delivery processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Business Growth: Support opportunities for account expansion and client engagement to grow the delivery footprint.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Delivery Manager or Project Manager roles, preferably within Financial Services or similar domains.
- Strong leadership, team coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
- Solid understanding of risk assessment, quality assurance, and performance monitoring.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial oversight within delivery frameworks.
- Knowledge of current technology trends is desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile methodologies are highly desirable.
