JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Luton, looking to recruit a new B1 Licensed Duty Manager to join their team. This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This is a Permanent Position based in Luton, 5/5/4 shift pattern at 12 hours per shift, working days, nights or days & nights.

Other Duties Involve:

  • Assessing all work requests and requirements
  • Managing and maintaining a safe and efficient line maintenance operation
  • Ensuring shift levels and skills are sufficient to achieve planned workload in line with Production Planning Process
  • Reviewing customer work requests
  • Aiding in ensuring all relevant Station, EASA and CAA regulations are met
  • Attending meetings as required between Shift Supervisors, Operational Maintenance Manager and Interfacing Departments
  • Maintaining awareness of the latest Technical Instructions, NTE’s and Procedures from all sources

In order to be successful in this role the B1 Licensed Duty Manager will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience of line maintenance
  • Supervisory and/or Managerial experience
  • Qualified Part 66 Licence on A320 types with a minimum of 3 certifying years’ experience
  • Right to live and work in the UK
