Our client, a leading international law firm with a fully integrated global finance platform, is looking to recruit a mid-level associate to join its busy Finance team in London. The role will focus on aviation finance transactions, including secured and unsecured financings and refinancings, sale-and-leasebacks, operating and finance lease agreements, trading and maintenance arrangements, private-equity investments, and restructurings. You will work closely with colleagues across the firm’s global network on cross-border matters for airlines, lessors, lenders, and investors.
Our client would particularly like to hear from lawyers with 3-5 years of PQE gained in a recognised finance practice. Proven experience in aviation finance and strong familiarity with LMA documentation are essential. Exposure to general banking, real estate or structured debt finance, restructuring, or Islamic finance will be advantageous.
The ideal candidate will combine excellent drafting and negotiation skills with commercial acumen, the ability to manage complex transactions, and a proactive, client-focused approach.
