Tax Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on a fantastic VAT Director opportunity on behalf of a leading firm in Central London.

Will be working with an impressive client portfolio (UK and international) involving a mix of tax advisory and ad hoc project work.

The role will involve assisting with leading the development of VAT work across the London office.

The Role:

  1. Managing a diverse client portfolio, providing VAT services
  2. Leading and managing the successful delivery of indirect tax advisory projects
  3. Reviewing advisory work prepared by the VAT team
  4. Overseeing the VAT return compliance process
  5. Mentoring and developing the VAT team
  6. Analysing technical queries and providing solutions
  7. Project management
  8. Business development
  9. Client networking
  10. Leading client meetings
  11. Building and maintaining strong client relationships

You:

  1. CTA &/or ACA Qualified
  2. VAT specialist from UK practice
  3. Strong UK VAT technical skills
  4. Knowledge of international VAT issues
  5. Management/ leadership experience
  6. Strong communication skills
  7. Ambition
