We are working with a well-established Social Housing Contractor who delivers both planned and reactive maintenance solutions to tenanted Social Housing properties across the North. Due to the setting up of a new business unit, they have an exciting opportunity available for an Operations Manager to help continue to grow a new Renewable Energy arm of the business. Projects to include: Installation of Air Source Heat Pumps Installation of Solar PV EV Charging Insulation projects to tenanted Social Housing properties Reporting to the Directors of the business, you will be responsible for dealing with contracts at a high level. You must have the ability and proven track record of assisting to build a new business and drive continued growth. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Renewable Energy business unit, ensuring best practices are followed. Manage all work from pre-construction through to delivery and handover/aftercare. Oversee all projects, ensuring they are adequately resourced and staffed. Bridge the gap between project teams and Directors. Manage a team consisting of Contracts Managers and their subsequent reports. Deliver successful presentations to Clients. Develop and maintain relationships with clients. Promote and maintain the highest standards of health and safety. Conduct financial reporting. The successful candidate must be personable, approachable and able to demonstrate strong leadership, commercial, and people management skills. Experience with the delivery of Renewable Energy contracts is essential, as is experience in building a business and driving growth. IOSH, NEBOSH tickets are ideal but not essential. This position is based within the company\’s Head Offices in Greater Manchester and will require site travel across the North.
