Project Accountant

Mitchell Adam are partnering with a dynamic, forward-thinking business based in the heart of Birmingham City Centre who are searching for an Interim Project Accountant to support high-impact financial initiatives during a key period of transformation.

As Interim Project Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting financial oversight across several key projects. You'll work closely with project managers, finance teams, and senior leadership to ensure robust budgeting, reporting, and forecasting. Your responsibilities will include; providing end-to-end financial management for ongoing projects, preparing detailed project budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses as well as partnering with stakeholders to ensure projects remain within financial scope.

Ideally, you will

• Be a qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with proven experience in project accounting.

• Have strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to be able to hit the ground running and add immediate value.

• Be comfortable working under tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities.

• Have the ability to assist with BAU everyday duties of the finance function when needed.
