Infrastructure Manager

We're seeking a motivated and proactive Infrastructure Manager to oversee and enhance our IT environment. Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and developing the company's infrastructure while leading a small IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support internal Servers, networks, communications, and data centres

• Oversee phone systems and rack systems

• Provide 24/7 cover for critical systems

• Investigate, resolve, and document technical issues to a high standard

• Deliver customer-facing performance reports aligned with SLAs

• Lead and develop support staff, ensuring effective practices and reporting

• Drive continuous improvements and future direction of company infrastructure

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on expertise with Cisco (Firewalls, Switches, Routers)

• Windows Server, Active Directory, group policy, failover clustering

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN

• Web hosting & Microsoft IIS

• SQL Server administration (backups, scripts, scheduling)

• Hyper-V, Docker, Linux

• Cloud platforms: Azure and/or AWS

• Backup management, PowerShell & Scripting

• Familiarity with replication and high-availability technologies
