Key Responsibilities: Financial Oversight: Provide operational financial leadership and oversight, ensuring the financial health and compliance of the organisation. Maintain robust financial controls. Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals, providing mentorship and guidance. Recruit, hire, and train finance staff to meet the department\’s needs. Foster an inclusive, positive, and collaborative work environment. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. Analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS). Transaction Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management. Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes. Group Deadlines and Submissions: Co-ordinate and manage the timely submission of financial reports and data to group. Ensure compliance with group-wide financial policies and procedures. Statutory and Fiscal Filings: Ensure compliance with all statutory and fiscal reporting requirements, including tax returns, regulatory filings, and financial statements. Co-ordinate with external tax advisors and regulatory bodies. Liaison with External Payroll and Internal Treasury Department: Coordinate with external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Collaborate with the internal Treasury department to manage cash flow, investments, and risk.
