Our client is a highly successful vehicle repair centre in Rochdale who are accredited to BS 10125. We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator (VDA) to join their expanding operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting damage on vehicles to assess what work would be required.
  • Creating accurate repair assessments in line with current repair methodology.
  • Providing time scales and costings for any work completed.
  • Providing estimates for repair ensuring they are fair and cost effective.
  • Inputting workflow and liaising with customers and insurance companies in a professional manner.
  • Reviewing work progress and identifying issues.

Skills & Experience required:

  • Current City and Guilds or IMI VDA Certificate.
  • Experience in using Audatex.
  • Ideally experience with GT Motive.
  • Experience of working on cars and light commercial vehicles.
  • A good communicator with an awareness of customer service ethics and expectations.
