Mechanical Contracts Engineer

We’re recruiting for a new Mechanical Contracts Engineer for a specialist Data Centre Construction / Critical Infrastructure Construction Design and Build Engineering company based in London.\\n\\nSalary to 65K -plus benefits package. 40 Hours per week. Exceptional Career opportunity with an interesting specialist M&E Design and Build / Advisory Contractor.\\n\\nOur client build and operate state-of-the art Data Centres particularly in Central London.\\n\\nYour responsibilities will include;\\n\\n * Oversee resources.\\n\\n * Maximize performance.\\n\\n * Ensure contractor management.\\n\\n * Ensure subcontractor competence.\\n\\n * Ensure timely close-out.\\n\\n * Track budget.\\n\\n * Submit reports.\\n\\n * Report progress.\\n\\n * Maintain client relationships.\\n\\nMain Duties\\n\\n * Solid management skills.\\n\\n * Analyze design documents.\\n\\n * Review schematics.\\n\\n * Complete technical submittals.\\n\\n * Analyze supplier info.\\n\\n * Manage program updates.\\n\\n * Maintain site diary.\\n\\n * Review quality.\\n\\n * Manage contract works.\\n\\n * Manage defects close-out.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\n * Appropriate Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.\\n\\n * SMSTS/IOSH Managing Safely.\\n\\n * Relevant CSCS card.\\n\\n * Organizational and analytical skills.\\n\\n * Experience with Document Management Systems.\\n\\n * Excellent communication skills.\\n\\n * Experience in Building Services/Data Centre projects
