GSL Education is currently seeking dedicated and skilled Resistance Materials Teachers to join one of our schools in Slough. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage students in hands-on learning and develop their technical abilities in design and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in Resistance Materials across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan and deliver practical projects that develop students' skills in design, construction, and evaluation
  • Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop environment
  • Work closely with the DT department to support curriculum development
  • Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching experience in Design and Technology
  • Specialism or strong background in teaching Resistance Materials
  • Excellent classroom and workshop management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)
