We are seeking a skilled and passionate temp Sushi Chef to join our culinary team for 3 weeks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary techniques, with a particular focus on sushi and Japanese cuisine. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes that meet our restaurant's standards while ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are strictly adhered to.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, sashimi, and maki rolls, in accordance with restaurant recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality by conducting regular inventory checks and maintaining proper storage procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, ensuring that all work areas are kept tidy and hygienic at all times.
