Camino Search are partners with a mid-market Private Equity fund who are seeking a Post-Merger Integration (PMI) Manager to lead the planning and execution of integration initiatives across an acquired software asset. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the successful transition of acquired companies into the existing operational model, driving synergies, and maintaining business continuity across key functions such as product, engineering, sales, finance, HR, and customer success. This role will include occasional travel across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Integration Planning & Execution: Own end-to-end integration plans for newly acquired companies, aligning functional teams and timelines to value creation goals.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with department heads (Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product, HR, Engineering) to align on integration priorities and execution.
- Change Management: Drive adoption of new processes, systems, and cultural alignment across teams and geographies.
- Synergy Tracking: Identify, track, and report on synergy realization metrics and value drivers (revenue growth, cost savings, process improvements).
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate integration risks and dependencies.
- Communication & Reporting: Serve as the central point of contact for integration status, risks, and updates to executive leadership and PE sponsors.
- Playbook Development: Contribute to the refinement and scaling of the integration playbook to support repeatable M&A execution.
Qualifications
- 5β10 years of experience in post-merger integration, management consulting, corporate development, or SaaS operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional M&A integrations in a SaaS or tech environment.
- Familiarity with private equity value creation strategies and operating cadence.
- Strong project management and organizational skills; PMP or similar certification is a plus.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and drive accountability across functions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
