Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional looking to join a dynamic and supportive accountancy practice? We’re looking for an experienced payroller to join a very successful firm based in Central London, with the flexibility of hybrid working and start/finish times around core hours.
In this role, you’ll manage payroll processes for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a high standard of service. You'll be part of a friendly and collaborative environment that values professional growth and work-life balance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for multiple clients across various sectors
- Handling statutory payments, pension submissions, and year-end reporting (P60s, P11Ds, etc.)
- Managing client queries and liaising with HMRC on payroll matters
- Maintaining up-to-date payroll records and ensuring GDPR compliance
- Supporting the payroll team with process improvements and client onboarding
- Assisting with client bookkeeping if full time (training given)
What We’re Looking for:
- A proactive and client focused attitude
- Solid experience in payroll (ideally within a practice or multi-client environment)
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and auto-enrolment
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficient in payroll software (e.g. BrightPay, Sage, Xero)
