The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.

Working alongside the Network Manager and on site with end users, this role is responsible for day-to-day support and troubleshooting of all in-house software and equipment, namely desktops, laptops, printers, phones and photocopiers.

Technical support provided will include:

  • Performing hardware and software maintenance duties
  • Troubleshoot and correct hardware/software computer and network problems
  • Assist with the maintenance and operation of workstations
  • Ensure all daily tasks including backups complete successfully
  • Offer technical support for mobile phones for mobile engineers

The post holder will have daily contact with the Network Manager, either face to face or over the phone.

Requirements:

  • Relevant educational background or experience in IT Support.
  • 1 to 2 years of preferred experience providing all round technical support to users
  • Must have thorough Windows/MS Office knowledge, Google, Office 365 and SharePoint
  • Must have thorough knowledge of PC hardware and software
  • Knowledge of networking, hardware & software
  • Knowledge of cloud working
  • Must be a team player who can work successfully with other departments in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment.
  • Able to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously
  • Service minded, organised and able to work independently with little supervision
  • Successful candidates will require a DBS check
