The Part Time Head of Corporate Services will oversee the development and build out of the corporate governance, company secretariat & corporate services arm of a leading professional services firm. This role requires strong leadership and expertise in managing teams and processes at an executive level and high level corporate governance experience in financial services.

The company is a well-established organisation within the professional services sector, recognised for its innovative approach and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions specifically for businesses with positive social impact. Currently they provide financial services advice and they are building a corporate governance & company secretary advisory arm.

The Part Time Head of Corporate Services will lead the development of the new company secretary advisory arm. They will work with the current client portfolio to deliver broad ranging co-sec support. This will include:

  • Lead and manage corporate service functions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to support business growth and sustainability.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve organisational goals.
  • Ensure statutory registers are up to date.
  • Support the meeting cycles.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to teams across C-Suite.
  • Ensure effective communication and reporting to stakeholders and key decision-makers.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational areas.

A successful Part Time Head of Corporate Services should have:

  • Proven company secretariat experience within professional services industry.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks & compliance practices.
  • Understanding of FCA regulated companies would be a benefit.
  • Implement strong governance frameworks for a varied client base.
  • Support boards and c-suite.
  • Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ideally be CGI or part CGI qualified.
  • Must have UK company experience.

This role can be done remotely with office attendance in London. Part time. Competitive salary package, estimated between GBP 95,000 and GBP 125,000.
