OT Cybersecurity Specialist- £600-£800 Per Day- Remote- 6 Months Contract About the Role: My client is seeking a skilled and experienced OT Cybersecurity Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing and securing operational technology (OT) environments across critical national infrastructure (CNI) or manufacturing sectors. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, risk management experience, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks in OT contexts. Key Responsibilities: * Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity measures aligned with OT standards such as IEC 62443 and SANS/GISCP frameworks. * Provide expert guidance on risk management strategies within OT environments to protect against emerging threats. * Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to OT security in CNI sectors. * Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies. * Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity best practices into OT system designs and operations. * Act as a trusted advisor for cybersecurity issues in industries such as Energy, Oil & Gas, or Manufacturing. Essential Qualifications & Skills: * Proven working knowledge of OT cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443 and/or SANS/GISCP. * CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certification is required. * Demonstrated experience in risk management within OT contexts. * Familiarity with regulatory frameworks related to OT environments. * Hands-on experience in critical national infrastructure sectors, such as Energy, Oil & Gas, or Manufacturing. Desirable Skills: * In-depth understanding of PSC/ESC standards. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Experience managing projects and driving cybersecurity initiatives in OT environments.
