Working Hours: Monday – Friday 0800 - 1700

Salary: up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Development Details:

This role will be based at a Kidbrooke Village located in South East London. The development consists of 1500 luxury residential homes and is located less than a 10-minute walk from Kidbrooke Station. Kidbrooke Village provides 86 acres of new parkland and open space and has been awarded the prestigious 'Sir David Attenborough Award' for Enhancing Biodiversity.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

As an Assistant Facilities Manager at Rendall & Rittner, you will:

  • Have experience working in a similar role either coming from a tools background or have transferable experience across property management, ensuring H&S compliance and working with contractors.
  • Support the Facilities Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the estate, including hard services (e.g. Mechanical & Electrical systems).
  • Monitor and coordinate reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks, ensuring service levels and compliance standards are met.
  • Liaise with residents, contractors, and suppliers to resolve maintenance issues, service queries, and site access arrangements.
  • Assist with health and safety compliance, including regular site inspections, risk assessments, and ensuring statutory records are up to date.
  • Assist the Facilities manager in obtaining quotes from contractors, reviewing Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS), permits to works and report variances or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of works, inspections, and asset registers, supporting reporting requirements to management.
  • Always look for opportunities to drive the performance of the development and contribute to amazing results.
  • Have strong IT skills, with experience using various systems and platforms, as well as a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
