We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative with a valid B1/B2 Forklift Truck Licence to join our client’s team in Wellingborough. Our client is a reputable manufacturer of high-quality worktops and shower tiles, and the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through the warehouse and production areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Feed raw materials to production lines using FLT and manual handling
- Manage goods inwards: unloading deliveries, checking and recording stock
- Pick and prepare raw materials for production and finished goods for outbound orders
- Support inventory accuracy through proper labelling and storage
- Operate safely within warehouse and production environments
- Maintain cleanliness and order within the warehouse
- Communicate effectively with production and logistics teams
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Valid B1/B2 FLT Licence (Counterbalance)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production support role
- Ability to work back shifts (14:00–22:00) or rotating shifts as required
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
