The predicted salary is between 30000 - 45000 £ per year.

An established and growing client of mine are looking to expand their Embedded Development team by bringing in an experienced HIL Developer. You will provide design input on projects and offer new ideas for developments and new products.

In your role as Hardware Design Engineer, you will be a key member of the development team, contributing to the creation of test solutions for advanced automotive electronics. You will be responsible for the development of closed loop test systems on existing hardware using LabView development environment as well as developing bespoke test hardware and providing post-deployment support. This role will be on site in Heanor. Should you wish to discuss flexibility, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Requirements:

  • A background in developing closed-loop test solutions for embedded systems
  • LabVIEW development experience
  • Hardware and software design
  • System integration experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • An understanding of automotive systems, wiring diagrams, electronics, and communication protocols would be desirable
  • Electronic circuits and PCB layouts - desirable
  • Debugging and optimising hardware and software systems
  • Automotive or electronics environment experience would be beneficial

Effectively, this role is responsible for contributing to the design and support of world-class products alongside the relevant teams.
