As part of a growing project delivery team, they’re looking for a skilled Site Manager to join them and take the lead on high-impact installations across the Home Counties.
The Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to lead and oversee the on-site execution of renewable technology projects. Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll coordinate site teams, enforce safety and compliance standards, and ensure high-quality project delivery from start to finish. This role is site independent, requiring someone with flexibility to manage multiple locations across the Home Counties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day on-site operations including installation, construction, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Conduct regular quality and safety inspections; ensure environmental compliance.
- Manage site health and safety, delivering toolbox talks, risk assessments, and enforcing safe working practices.
- Coordinate temporary works and lifting operations in line with safety standards and regulatory frameworks (including LOLER).
- Maintain detailed site records - daily reports, audits, progress tracking, and incident logs.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to maintain project momentum.
- Identify and resolve issues promptly to avoid project delays or non-conformance.
Essential Requirements:
- SMSTS certification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- Proven experience in Construction Site Management
- Valid CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
Candidate Profile:
You will be:
- A confident leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised with an eye for detail, capable of maintaining control over multiple projects.
- Technically capable of interpreting site plans and specifications.
- Knowledgeable in health and safety legislation and best practices (including the Health & Safety at Work Act).
