Academics is seeking Nursery Assistants to support nurseries across Stockport and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting Early Years children (0-5 years)
- Providing long-term or flexible cover, adapting to the specific needs of each nursery
- Being adaptable to different environments
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
- Following daily routines and supporting mealtimes, toileting, and activities
- Working alongside nursery staff and following the guidance of the Nursery Manager
- Upholding high standards of safeguarding and child wellbeing
- Engaging children in early years learning through creativity, play, and care
- Level 3 Qualification or equivalent - desirable (Early Years Practitioner)
- SEN experience (desirable)
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to process one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous experience working with young children
- Competitive pay (paid through PAYE and inclusive of holiday pay)
