A fantastic opportunity has become available with Trevett Services to work with one of our largest FM clients, covering college campuses. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a medium sized team based across educational sites in Aberdeen (AB25). This is a permanent, full-time role covering planned and reactive maintenance tasks, minor electrical installations and remedial tasks.
This role is covering 6 sites around Aberdeen, there is a Work Van to be used when travelling between sites ONLY. Not too and from work.
Duties:- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Carry out minor installations and repair works.
- Carry out remedial works and log inspection reports.
- Complete risk assessments before completing jobs.
- Carry out testing and inspection.
- Perform a full service delivery (i.e. painting, plumbing, joinery, complete works 100%).
- Complete conditions surveys.
- Complete fixed wire testing.
- Operate a PDA device.
- Attend all training and participate in appraisals.
- Adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act.
- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (2330/2360) or equivalent.
- City & Guilds 18th Edition BS7671.
- City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience as an Electrician minimum.
- Experience working in an industrial, commercial or educational environment.
- Health & Safety knowledge and understanding.
- Strong administration skills for documentation purposes.
- Ability to obtain a DBS.
- Driving licence required.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
