The purpose of your role will be to ensure products meet safety, quality, and legal standards through audits, checks, and compliance monitoring. This role offers the fantastic opportunity to learn under the mentorship of a highly experienced Senior Technical Manager, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key tasks:- Running the day-to-day quality function and deputising for the Technical Manager in their absence.
- Working closely with the production team to ensure all hygiene checks are carried out, maintaining and managing cleaning records and performing routine site audits.
- Overseeing product testing, tracking results and supporting HACCP processes.
- Logging and investigating customer complaints, ensuring all product specifications, labels and documentation is kept up to date.
- Managing supplier relationships and providing support during external audits and site visits.
The successful candidate may be a recent food science graduate or may have some food industry experience within a Quality or Production role.
The QA Technologist job (ref:8918) is paying £27,000 - £32,000 according to your experience. The role offers long term progression and development opportunity. The site is commutable from Bolton, Chorley, Manchester, Wigan, Preston, Skelmersdale and surrounding towns. The working hours are 6:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday.
